Export Buttons Do Not Appear

Possible Causes

  • The extension was not injected into the page successfully
  • The page is not DeepSeek Chat
  • The current setting is Bottom Action Bar, so buttons appear only when you hover over a response
  • The response has not finished generating
  • Browser page cache is behaving unexpectedly

Steps

  1. Make sure the current URL is https://chat.deepseek.com/
  2. Refresh the page
  3. If export button position is set to Bottom Action Bar, move the pointer over the response area and check again
  4. Wait for the response to finish loading and check again
  5. Open the settings page and confirm the buttons are not hidden

No File Appears After Clicking Export

Possible Causes

  • The browser blocked the download
  • The export process was canceled
  • PDF opens a preview page first and does not start downloading immediately
  • The image or PDF is still being generated

Steps

  1. Check whether the browser blocked the download
  2. If it is PDF, wait for the preview page to open and then click Download
  3. Try exporting again
  4. For long content, try Markdown or Word first

The PDF Preview Page Fails to Open or Display

Possible Causes

  • The preview cache has expired
  • The original temporary data expired after the preview page was refreshed or reopened
  • The page load was interrupted
  • The browser tab was closed too quickly

Steps

  1. Go back to the original conversation page
  2. Run the PDF export again
  3. Do not refresh the old PDF preview page; wait for the new preview page to fully open before downloading

Image Export Is Slow

Possible Causes

  • The content is long
  • The page contains complex styles, formulas, or code blocks
  • The browser is under high load

Steps

  1. Wait for the export to finish
  2. Close unnecessary tabs and try again
  3. If you only need archiving, use Markdown, Word, or PDF instead

Notebook Data Cannot Be Found

Possible Causes

  • You are not using the original browser environment
  • The extension was uninstalled or local data was cleared

Steps

  1. Confirm that you are using the original browser and the same profile
  2. Look for a previously exported notebook backup file
  3. Re-import it from the backup JSON

Account Status Is Incorrect

Possible Causes

  • The local session has not been refreshed yet
  • The membership status changed recently
  • The daily manual refresh count has been used up

Steps

  1. Click Refresh Info in the account panel
  2. If it says the daily refresh limit has been reached, try again the next day or sign in again
  3. If refresh fails, sign in again
  4. Open the account panel again to confirm the status

You Cannot Continue Exporting After Reaching the Free Quota

Possible Causes

  • The cumulative export count has exceeded the free quota
  • You are not currently a member
  • Membership has expired, or authorization has not been completed in the extension

Steps

  1. Open the account panel and confirm your membership status
  2. If you already purchased membership, complete authorization as prompted in the dialog
  3. If membership has expired, renew as prompted and then return to the extension
  4. Return to the page and continue exporting
