Quick Start ​

This page is for first-time users. It explains what you will see after installing the extension and the shortest path to getting started.

What Happens After Installation ​

After installing the extension, open https://chat.deepseek.com/. You will usually see these entry points on the page:

  • Export buttons below each AI response
  • The batch export button at the bottom right
  • The notebook button at the bottom right
  • The account button at the bottom right
  • The more menu at the bottom right

After the first installation, the extension may automatically open the help panel once.

Get Started in 3 Minutes ​

1. Export a Single Response ​

  1. Wait for a response to finish generating in DeepSeek Chat.
  2. Move the pointer over that response area.
  3. Click an export button below the response, such as DOCX, PDF, MD, or PNG.
  4. Wait for the browser to download the file, or click download on the PDF preview page.

2. Batch Export Part of a Conversation ​

  1. Click the batch export button at the bottom right.
  2. Select the messages you want to export.
  3. Click Export Selected.
  4. Choose a format.
  5. If the format is Markdown, Word, or PDF, and the selected content includes questions, continue to choose a template.

3. Save Important Responses to the Notebook ​

  1. Click Add to Notebook in the response area.
  2. Choose which folder to save it to.
  3. Name the note.
  4. Open the notebook from the bottom right to continue organizing it.

4. Open the Settings Page ​

  1. Click More at the bottom right.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Adjust the General, Word, PDF, and Image settings as needed.
  • Confirm whether to export the thinking process
  • Adjust the export button order
  • Choose a default image theme
  • Set the Word document author information
  • Enable or disable the Edit button below AI responses as needed

Common Entry Notes ​

If You Cannot See Export Buttons ​

  • Refresh the DeepSeek Chat page
  • Wait for the response to finish loading
  • Make sure the current page is https://chat.deepseek.com/

If You Want to Export Many Messages at Once ​

Use batch export instead of downloading them one by one.

If You Want to Organize Content Before Exporting ​

Use the notebook first.

If you have already enabled the Edit button below AI responses in settings, you can also organize the content in the canvas editor before exporting.
