How to Batch Export Conversations
This page explains how to select multiple messages at once and export them into a single file.
When to Use It
- Saving a full Q&A session
- Organizing meeting notes, research steps, or study notes
- Cases where template-based output is needed
Steps
- On the DeepSeek Chat page, click the
Batch Exportbutton at the bottom right. - The page enters selection mode.
- Check the messages you want to export.
- Click
Export Selected. - Choose an export format.
- Decide whether to include the thinking process for this export.
- If exporting to Word, choose the current style preset if needed.
- If the selected format supports templates and the selected content includes questions, continue to choose a template.
- If exporting to PDF, a preview page opens first, and you download the file from there.
- Wait for the export to finish.
Common Actions in Selection Mode

If the current page has no recognizable conversation content, the page will indicate that there is nothing available to export.

Template Selection Notes
Markdown, Word, and PDF support templates in certain cases.

Templates for Questions-only Selections
When the selected content contains only questions and no AI responses, the templates switch to question-list style templates.
When Template Selection Appears
- The selected content includes both questions and answers
- The selected content contains only questions
If you select only AI responses, export starts directly without template selection.

When exporting to PNG in batch mode and the theme selector is enabled in settings, the system asks you to choose a theme first.
About the Thinking Process
At the bottom of the batch export panel, you can decide directly whether to include the thinking process for the current export.
It follows the Export Thinking Process setting by default, but you can temporarily change it before exporting.
Word Style Presets
When exporting to Word in batch mode, you can choose the current style preset at the bottom of the export panel.
About PDF
When batch exporting to PDF, a preview page opens first, and the final file is downloaded from there.
Re-select Without Leaving
If you only want to adjust which items are checked, use Re-select in the format selection dialog to return to the selection screen and continue adjusting.
